Frequently Asked Questions
There are three ways to shape aluminum – Formed with a press; broken with a brake (bending and folding); and extruded. Extruding aluminum is the process of forcing heated aluminum through a die that gives the desired shape. The benefit of extruding is a precise shape that is lean, time saving and exact with every piece manufactured.
Our shelves are strong, which is another benefit from extruding. The upper rim and rounding of the front and rear of the pans 2" rim is reinforced with thicker aluminum to provide strength for heavy duty usage. We tested our twelve-foot unit with 2000 lbs of concrete blocks, which is one of our videos, but we don't recommend you try this at home. Remember not to over load your units while in motion and always secure any heavy equipment.

That's what makes our shelves special. PRF Shelves transfer the weight of the load through its four legs to the floor. The force is minimal against the wall, since the system attaches to the wall for stability and positioning only.

Yes, PRF is always looking for good companies to partner. Please contact us for inquires.
Absolutely! First, our shelving systems are made of aluminum which is a recyclable material. Second, equipping trucks (peak season and other times) with shelving will increase efficiency of truck usage and in return means less trucks on the highways equals less emissions.
Truck rental companies for the first time have a way to offer an accessory, (ie: PRFect Shelving Solutions) to their clients that will greatly aid their efforts in delivering peak season package volume, saving their clients’ time and money, all while the rental companies capitalize on the shelving accessory.
The PRF Shelving system is built for indefinite use. Once a rental / Cargo / Box truck reaches its life expectancy and is due for upgrading or replacement, the PRFect Shelving system can be removed and placed in the new replacement truck. It is a onetime purchase.
